Programming, Design and Construction (PDC) brings Vanderbilt’s vision to life by creating spaces that support the academic mission and embody the university's pursuit of excellence and innovation.

Vanderbilt’s Programming, Design & Construction (PDC) team coordinates project planning, design, and construction through an integrated approach focused on service, accountability, and consistent project delivery. This shift is a reflection of the division’s creation of a new Planning Department to address customer feedback and improve our service.Ìý

Projects are organized into four categories based on their scope, complexity, and institutional priorities. Each project is assigned to a Project Manager and Category Manager to support coordination, decision-making, and successful delivery.Ìý

Projects begin with a defined intake and induction process to establish project goals, scope, stakeholders, and funding before advancing into design and implementation.Ìý
